Memetics are not internet memes in degenesis, but rather a complex social art of speech patterns, subliminal messaging and body language which can be used to affect the thoughts and feelings of subjects. Memetics are used by Sleepers (Illustrated) to influence the actions of others; influencing them to do their bidding, coercing them in negotiation, and even confusing individuals to turn on friends: sometimes to lethal result.
